We are currently recruiting for Mechanical Engineer β Team Lead at our Israel office. The Mechanical Engineer β Team Lead will play a pivotal role in our R&D team, reporting directly to the R&D Manager. Your primary responsibility will be to lead and manage the mechanical engineering team in designing and developing cutting-edge mechanical systems and components for medical devices. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the feasibility and manufacturability of designs, and you will oversee the prototyping and testing of new ideas. This role also involves managing activities and building strong partnerships with subcontractors
The ideal candidate will have 10 years of experience in mechanical design and development, proven experience with multidisciplinary systems and proven experience with SolidWorks.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Lead and manage the R&D mechanical engineering team.
- Design and develop mechanical components and systems for medical devices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design feasibility and manufacturability.
- Conduct simulations and analyses to validate designs.
- Oversee the prototyping and testing of new designs.
- Document design processes and maintain accurate records.
Your skills and experience
Essential:
- Education: Bachelorβs degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 10 years of experience in mechanical design and development.
- Proven experience with multidisciplinary systems.
- Proven experience with SolidWorks.
- Knowledge of multiple manufacturing
- Strong understanding of mechanical principles and materials.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance for medical devices.
- Prototyping and testing experience.
Desirable:
- Experience in the medical device industry (advantage).
