We are currently recruiting for Finance Manager at our Sofia office. The Finance Manager Title will act as a trusted finance leader ensuring the high quality of financial accounting and reporting, financial health of the organization and optimal allocation of resources. The Finance Manager will handle overseeing accounting activities, preparing financial reports, assisting in cost and expense analysis, budget tracking and preparation, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and liaising with external parties such as but not limited to tax authorities and auditors. The role is involved in finance operations on both – local and global level.
The ideal candidate will be proven finance professional with international exposure.

What You'll Be Doing:
🔹Foster collaboration and alignment across the EBD divisional entities' financial operations.
🔹Is involved in preparation of the strategy on the business budgeting & forecasting processes
🔹Provide timely, accurate and insightful financial management information and advice to support decision making.
🔹 Manage, control and organize the administration of all activities related to the financial and accounting activity of the company.
🔹 Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures in accordance with the company’s standards and legal requirements.
🔹Ensure compliance of the finance and accounting activities with the internal company policies and procedures and with the requirements by the local state authorities and legislation.
🔹Prepare IFRS consolidated and local statutory financial and accounting statements, notes and management packs.
🔹Manage the cashflow for Bulgarian Site, liaising with Group Treasury manager and ensure timely payments of suppliers.
🔹Own monthly, quarterly and annual closes in SAP across the EBD divisional entities (Bulgaria, Spain, Italy, USA and overseeing Hong Kong and Columbia).
🔹Analyse BOM, routings, standard costs, budget and actual variance analysis, and other ad-hoc analysis.
🔹Oversee the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions for Bulgaria and Spain.
🔹Act as SAP key-user; spearhead FI/CO enhancements and BI dashboards (Power BI or similar).
🔹Manage the preparation of the accounting documents related to annual financial closing and their submission to the Bulgarian tax, insurance and statistical offices.🔹
🔹Represent the company before the authorities of the National Revenue Agency and other state institutions, auditors, banks providing the necessary documents and references during inspections/revisions).
🔹Evaluate financial risks and develop mitigation strategies.
🔹Optimize Financial Processes: Identify inefficiencies in financial operations and implement improvements to enhance accuracy, reduce costs, and streamline workflows.
Your skills and experience
Essential:
🔹University Degree in: Accounting/Finance.
🔹Fluency in English - both written and spoken.
🔹Deep knowledge of IFRS and Bulgarian corporate tax/VAT legislation.
🔹Advanced user of SAP FI/CO and MS Office (pivot tables, Power Query, Power BI).
🔹Strong communication and leadership with the ability to influence management and non-finance teams.
🔹Experience of working in a complex change driven organisation.
🔹Team player with personal initiative and drive.
Desirable:
🔹Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or CIMA.
🔹Experience in a multinational matrix and/or shared-service setup.
